I have been active in music since age ten. Played with folk groups during the 60s. Toured with Command Military Touring Shows in Viet Nam. Played on the rising stage at Disneyland, performed in Las Vegas with Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Paul Anka. Came close to stardom with 'Solid Gold' during the 70s. Was recording engineer for 'Firefall', 'The Dirt Band' and 'Air Supply.' Worked for Loretta Lynn for a few years. Did all the special effects for Garth Brooks on 'The Thunder Rolls.' Worked on Emmylou Harris' 'Cowgirls Prayer.' I'm still playing and singing today with my favorite band of all time, 'The Road Crew - America's Route 66 Band!'

The Road Crew is the 2011 recipient of the Bobby Troup Artistic Recognition Award. Bobby Troup wrote "Get Your Kicks on Route 66." Route 66 stretches from Chicago to LA. Commissioned in 1926 and by 1937 it was the longest paved two lane highway in America. We play for festivals, car shows and other 66 related events each year. The Happy Rock Folk Society performed in The Hollywood Bowl Battle of The Bands in 1966. The group was formed at Gladstone High School, in the Azusa Unified School District of Los Angeles. We won best vocal group competition. The Richard Carpenter Trio won best in jazz.
